Yes, Ragdoll cats are known for their sweet, gentle, and relaxed temperament, which makes them great companions for children. They are patient, affectionate, and love to play, which makes them perfect for families with children.

Ragdoll cats are an excellent choice for families who are looking for a loving and affectionate pet. They are low maintenance, easy to groom, and have a docile personality. They get along well with other pets and children, making them a great addition to any family.

Remember that Ragdoll cats are known for being very affectionate and social. They can become quite lonely and bored when left alone, so it is important to allocate time to engage with your pet and provide them with companionship.

No, Ragdolls are not high maintenance. They have a silky coat that is easy to groom and maintain. Unlike other long-haired breeds, they have no undercoat so they don’t shed that much, and they simply require minimal grooming to keep their coat in good condition.

Ideally, we recommend that Ragdoll owners engage in more intensive grooming at least twice a year, specifically when their fur is seasonally changing.

Not really! Although every cat enjoys taking advantage of a larger space, Ragdoll cats are perfect for indoor living. They are an adaptable breed that is happy to live even in small spaces. Nevertheless, since Ragdolls are comparatively one of the largest cat breeds, it is advisable to provide them with a slightly larger living space than a regular house cat. Besides, it’s advisable to provide a larger cat litter box, and larger cat houses, if possible, to accomodate for their size.

It is very important to remember that Ragdolls are an indoor cat breed. We strongly advise to let them explore outdoors only when supervised, as their natural survival instincts are known to be weak due to their sweet, trusting, and complacent character.

Ragdoll cats are a generally healthy cat breed. However, two common health complications for Ragdolls are HCM and PKD. These issues can be easily avoided through responsible pure breeding. Reputable breeders can provide documentation to prove that their cats do not carry the genetic material responsible for these diseases. If you require such documents, please do not hesitate to contact us here.

Like all cats, Ragdolls may be prone to certain health issues, such as urinary tract infections or dental problems. Regular check-ups with a veterinarian can help prevent and treat these issues.

Ragdoll cats have a long lifespan of up to 15 years or more with proper care and attention. They are a healthy breed that is not prone to any major health issues, which makes them a great choice for those looking for a long-term companion.

We comply with all the WCF and EU health certifications to ensure responsible breeding. All our kittens are provided with a genetic lineage certificate (also known as a pedigree certificate) that certifies their status as purebred Ragdolls. Additionally, a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian can be prepared if necessary as such certificates can be beneficial in tracking the kitten’s health history and help assist veterinarians in providing appropriate care throughout the cat’s life.

Before adopting a Ragdoll kitten, it is important to understand that they are an indoor cat breed and should not be allowed to roam outside. You should also ensure that you have the time and resources to care for a cat, including providing proper nutrition, regular grooming, and veterinary care. Additionally, Ragdolls are known to be affectionate and crave human attention, so it’s important to make sure you have the time to give them the love and attention they need.

To prepare for adopting a Ragdoll kitten, you should create a safe and comfortable space for them in your home. This includes providing a cozy bed, litter box, scratching post, and toys to keep them entertained. Make sure to provide enough scratching posts that are big and long enough for your fluffy friend!

You should also kitten-proof your home to ensure that there are no potential hazards, such as loose wires or poisonous plants, that could harm your new pet. Also make sure there are no high places that the kittens can crawl upon, as Ragdolls can be quite clumsy.
